What would you highlight about Royal Luxury Hotel Patong

Location was good.

Well where do you start, wish we had looked at reviews first everything true, from rude staff, bedding not clean towels not clean and when asked for them to be changed never happened , no room service in the 4 days stay. TV on prepay, we had a back quiet room which looked over a yard full of rubbish and family of large rats which were as large as the cats next property, breakfast was 1 egg 2 slices of toast coffee or orange juice. These people should not be in the hospitality business. Would not recommend it to any one.

What would you highlight about Royal Luxury Hotel Patong

The location was alright.

That the room was dirty. The floor, our blankets, sheets and towel were also dirty. The bed was really hard to sleep on. It felt as if the floor was softer than the bed. We had locked our room for the day only to come back to an unlocked room which was not even cleaned. So we have no idea why the room had been opened in the first place. The water pressure in the bathroom was very poor. Growing up in Asia you have to get used to it sometimes. But we had never experienced water pressure this badly before. It was very difficult to adjust the temperature of the water as well as it at first was really cold and then would turn boiling hot.

Excellent location if you want to be close to Bangla road and Patong Beach was a short walk. Great food. Room was clean. Staff were ok.

Incredibly noisy outside- difficult to sleep. Room was not cleaned throughout our stay.

Ambience and one of the staff is good (The Indian Guy), Rooms are clean at first day.

Rooms have to clean everyday and basic items like towels and soaps needs to refilled at least two days once

Hotel is rightly located near to Bangla Road, Rooms has Balcony & Big in Size.

Cleanliness was poor (Cleaned one day in four days stay), No towels (If you request for towel they say Laundry is yet to come), No soaps & shampoo packets refilled, And more importantly no complimentary Water bottles.

What would you highlight about Royal Luxury Hotel Patong

Great location close to bangala road and within walking distance from the beach. Hotel resturant was OK and some food items reasonably priced however small portions.

*The view from our room was a rubbish tip full of huge rats everyday going through all of the rubbish. *Breakfast was included however consisted of two peices of toast and one egg, very disappointing. *We stayed for 7 nights and our room was never cleaned and were never provided with fresh towels etc. On check in we weren't provided with a toilet paper either and had to request it multiple times. *The owner speaks good english however the rest of the staff do not which made it difficult to communicate. *we overhead other guests complaining to the owner about the room key access, as the swipe keys can access any room. So we felt our room was not safe due to anyone with a key being able to access all rooms. *We arrived two hours early for check in and were made to pay an extra 200 baht for early check in. *You also need to leave your passport with them as a security deposit or pay a 2000 baht security deposit.

Close to nightlife and couldn’t hear it too much only the road outside. The room was spacious.

The staff didn’t speak and came across as a bit hostile but there was one member of night staff that was very kind and helpful.

What would you highlight about Royal Luxury Hotel Patong

Nothing.

We arrived late because of the delayed flight. First at all, he couldn't find our booking as there's no system to record your reservation. And then he request 4% credit card fee with 2000thb cash deposit for each room; which is not what we saw in booking.com. We had no choice to take it as this is group reservation for 10 people and don't think there's anywhere else to fit all of us last minute with similar price. We booked 5x twin bed room. He wasn't sure which room with twin bed and made 10 of us followed him to check each room one by one at the closed corridor with no air-conditioning. We compromised with whatever room in the end after some time wasted after credit card billed with deposit collected. So tricky!!! Other than that: - Only one room with towel. When we request for the rest of us, they said it's not washed yet. (Definitely not because of high turnover as we didn't see any other guest) - No blanket cover on some beds. - Sand on bed and smell on pillow. We choose not to think if it the sheet was changed, or how many has slept on it. - Used soap in bathroom, water going down slow with hair stucked. (My friend clean it herself as she's too fed up to call them any more) - We were having hide and seek with a live cockroach found in the room, glad that we managed to kill it!!! Also to highlight the guy who checked us in was extremely rude. We understand English isn't their first language, but he choose to assume before we finish the sentence and interrupt. He was impatience when we breakdown what we tried to say, typical narrow-minded guy who refuse to listen. Perhaps we should learn his language next time, they are not Thai anyway. Last but not least, they will take time to inspect each room when you checked out. So, make sure you check everything in the room first to prevent them framing you anything; only if you still decided to stay in this shitty place.

Nothing

The staff did not clean the place prior to us checking in.The place was filthy and someone's used shorts were still hanging on the railing if the bathroom. The back of the place is a rubbish dump and is infested with rats (which I could see from my window). The bathroom has a pungent sewerage smell. Please avoid at all costs. Lesson learnt: you get what u pay for!

What would you highlight about Royal Luxury Hotel Patong

The only thing that was good is the location.

Last trip my friend stayed there and I checked his room, so I thought would be nice to stay there too. I think it was a big mistake. Room are really bad, making the room once in two days, bed is so hard and pillows not really comfy, good that I was too tired. Staff is hopeless, every time I had to call and ask a few times. The view was just the rubbish on the side of the hotel, and you can see the rats running there in the evening. Towels too tired, so I will attach some pics. But still if you want just sleep and party that would be nice. But not sure if I am going to stay there again.
